Here is all the information you need to know about camping.

Pitch your tent on the festival grounds at no extra charge. Please note that cars and campers require special tickets, and tent camping is only permitted in the main campgrounds. We recommend a compact, tidy tent setup to fully immerse yourself in the festival vibes.

When you arrive with a campervan, collect your Camper Vehicle Pass from the accreditation point in the village of Garbicz. Please follow the instructions of our traffic team for a hassle-free experience.

As a reminder: Tickets include entrance to the festival from Thursday to Monday, and camping in your own tent. To camp in your camper or caravan you need an additional CAMPER TICKET. If you arrive with your own car you need a CAR PARK TICKET for our secured car park in the village. This is parking only, no sleeping the car. Arriving early or at On-Site Camp? You’ll also need a Wednesday ticket.

Car

To arrive with your own car in Garbicz you need a parking ticket for the Car Park in the village. The number of CarPark tickets is limited to 500 cars, without a pre-purchased CarPark ticket you can not arrive in Garbicz Village and park where ever you like. The car park is secured 24/7 from Wednesday to Wednesday. You are not allowed to sleep in the car.

~~Please note: Due to fire hazard, we can not allow electric cars on site, camp sites or village car park.~~ Update: We have been in discussions with the fire department for several days, and we now have a final decision that electric vehicles are permitted. However, due to the ongoing drought and increased fire risk, we urge everyone to exercise caution and be vigilant.

The lack of specific regulations on this matter contributed to the length of our discussions, as we needed to ensure that all safety concerns were thoroughly addressed. We must prioritize guidance from the fire department before we can provide further information. Thank you for your attention and consideration.

Campervan FAQs

Can I arrive at sunset or sunrise camp by Wednesday just for camping?

Festival runs from Thursday to Monday. So yes, but you need a Wednesday ticket

How does the shuttle boat work?

Boat shuttle runs on a 24/7 base beginning Thursday. It commutes from Sunrise Camp to the festival site and back.

Can I still rent a bell tent?

I bought a ticket for Village Camp, but I cannot find it on the map

You will be staying at Silent Camp, as the Village Camp is cancelled. Silent Camp is even nicer, closer to the site and, well, more silent.

My Camper is more than 6m. Is it a problem?

Campers over 6m should stay at Sunset Camp, but they can’t be longer than 8m. Alternatively you can add a 2nd Camper Ticket. On-Site Camp strictly cannot handle oversized caravans.

Will there be electricity? Can I plug in my camper?

No, there won’t be electricity. Please be aware of that.

Can I shower on the campsites?

Toilettes + showers at all campsites – On-Site and Off-Site..

Are there water points where I can refill my camper and my own showers?

There will be several water points, mainly for drinking water. Water is rare, so please don’t fill you camper with it and use the showers on the festival site.

Our Campsites

ON-SITE CAMP

This camp is walking distance to everything the festival has to offer. You just have to arrive Wednesday before 2pm, everyone needs a Wednesday ticket, and you can’t leave before Monday 8pm. It’s a fire department rule.

SUNSET CAMP

Across the lake, opposite the festival this spot offers you amazing view and space for RVs and tents. And if you want to cross the lake, just hop on out 24/7 boat shuttles, departing from Sunrise Camp next to you – sold out

SUNRISE CAMP

Please do nothing without consent. No means no and only yes means yes. No answer is not an agreement. Be aware that sexual violence does not start with physical abuse. Also unwanted verbal approaches or harassment are not ok and can lead to exclusion of the festival.

Discrimination of any kind, especially on the basis of gender, sexual orientation or origin have no place here! Together we want to create a safer space. Garbicz Festival has a no tolerance policy for any of these behaviors.
